Lesley Sapp has been with the Asian Affairs Center since 2006, working as a program coordinator, liaison for English teacher placement in Asia, instructor and now managing the coordination of short-term university programs. Her passion for Asia sparked when she took a full-time English teaching position in China from 2003 to 2005. She has traveled extensively and enjoys bridging cultures at home and abroad. Prior to joining the team at the Asian Affairs Center, she gained extensive experience in educational nonprofit work as the director of operations for Chicago Communities in School from 1997 to 2002. Lesley has an executive MBA from the University of Missouri and obtained her bachelor's degree in English and African American studies from Indiana University.
